Teachers honored at top 25 banquet

Teachers Appreciation Week culminated with the 11th annual Granbury ISD Education Foundation Academic Recognition Banquet (commonly called the GEF Top 25 Banquet). On May 9, 2024, at La Bella Luna, teachers and other employees were honored with a reading. Each Top 25 student and their guest of honor stood for the reading of their statement about how the educator they selected impacted their education and lives.

GEF thanks its board members Michelle Lucero and Holly Martin for leading the event, Nancy Peterson for making the memorable picture frames for each student and teacher, and Sam Houston and Holly Martin for reading aloud the students' sentiments.
