Often referred to as "ham radio," the Amateur Radio Service has been around for a century and has grown into a worldwide community of licensed operators. On June 22-23, 2024, the Hood County Amateur Radio Club (HCARC) members participated in the annual ARRL (Amateur Radio Relay League) Field Day, held during the last weekend of June.
