Posted

From June 17th to 21st, Constitution Camp was held at the Langdon Center Concert Hall and the Grounds of the Langdon Center. The camp was open to children aged 7 to 13 and aimed to educate them about the United States Constitution. Additionally, teenagers aged 14 to 18 had the opportunity to become helpers at the camp. The event, organized by the Elizabeth Crockett Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Granbury, Texas, was non-political and free of charge. It utilized community resources such as historical groups, local and state officials, and government entities to educate participants about the Constitution and the founding fathers. The camp provided a day camp setting for students, teenage helpers, adult volunteers, and special guests, including characters portraying figures such as George Washington and Ben Franklin.
