Windy Beard Henson, born Jan. 2, 1981, in Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with the Lord April 12, 2026, at 2:59 p.m. She was 45 years old.
Windy is survived by Kendell Henson and his son Kendell Jr. and their chihuahua ‘Lil Bitty’ of Granbury, Texas; her parents, Melody and Gerald Walker Jr.; sister, Audra Walker; brother, Gerald Walker III and wife Shanna; grandmothers, Barbara Jamison and Linda Kay Walker; nephew, Phillip Cryer; niece, Brooklyn Morrison; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Windy volunteered and became the general manager of People Helping People for a few years. Currently, Windy was a full-time caregiver for Jan Henson, a dear family member.
Windy loved life, her family, friends and fishing on Lake Granbury with Kendell. Windy was so loved and will be missed by many.
Pallbearers are Eric Kalsi, Jerry Morgan, Mark Goldstein, Jeffrey Moore, GJ Gafford and John Crosley.
Services are under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home, 504 Holden St. in Glen Rose, Texas. A Celebration of Life service for Windy will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rock Creek Cemetery.
