Granbury’s own beloved therapy dog, Bedford the labradoodle, was a contestant in this year’s fourth annual Pet Partner’s Pet of the Year competition. While Bedford did not place in the PPPOTY this year, he won the 2025 Mission Moment Spotlight Award, which helped to achieve his handler Kay Dykes dreams of getting Hood County residents educated and excited about therapy animals.
