Posted

Stephanie Sampler has been chosen as this week’s winner of the Hood County News A.C.E. (Achieving Campus Excellence) Award.

She is a paraprofessional who supports special education students in all classes at Granbury Middle School. She was nominated by Lauren Desormeaux.

Lauren has this to say about Stephanie: “Mrs. Sampler is one of the most caring educators I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside. She consistently shows up in times of need and is always willing to help in any way she can. Her positivity and empathy shine through in everything she does, and it is clear that she truly loves her students. Granbury Middle School is incredibly fortunate to have her. Despite the many demands of her role and being pulled in countless directions, she handles every challenge with grace and without a single complaint. She makes coming to work on the really hard days, worth it! I nominate Mrs. Sampler because she embodies what it means to be a dedicated, compassionate, and student-centered educator. She consistently goes above and beyond her responsibilities, stepping in wherever she is needed and offering support without hesitation. Her positive attitude, empathy, and genuine love for her students create a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment for everyone she interacts with. Even when her job pulls her in many directions, she manages every challenge with professionalism, patience, and grace. Her impact on our campus is immeasurable, and Granbury Middle School is truly better because of her.”
