Mickey Lynn White, 69, of Granbury, Texas, passed away Dec. 30, 2025, surrounded by family. He was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty and devotion to his family and community.
Born Dec. 28, 1956, in Waco, Texas, to Thomas J. and Billie White, Mickey was a graduate of Granbury High School. He shared 38 years of marriage with his wife, Joan White, and together they raised three children.
Mickey spent 43 years in grocery store management and was the owner of Lakeside Country Market in Granbury. He was a Mason and a member of Granbury Masonic Lodge #392, and volunteered with many local organizations.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan White, and brothers Tom White and Rickey White. He is survived by his children Anthony White (Leah), Amanda Smothers (Adonis), and Jerad White; sister Billie Mace (Joe); grandchildren Austin White, Nicole Petschel, and Sarayah Smothers; and his companion, Helen Hensel.
A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been established at First National Bank of Granbury. A future scholarship will be awarded to a deserving Granbury High School BBQ Team student in honor of Mickey’s love for smoking barbecue.
