Michael “Mike” Patrick Fee 1945 —2025

Michael “Mike” Patrick Fee, 80, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Granbury, formerly of Illinois, passed away early Monday morning, Feb. 17, 2025, in his Granbury home.

A memorial gathering will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at the Wiley Funeral Center, 420 U.S. Highway 377 East in Granbury. A Celebration of Life service celebrating Mike’s life will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at the Wiley Funeral Center. Burial will be private at the Holly Hills Memorial Park.

Mike was born Jan. 12, 1945, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, to the late Owen and Murial Fee. Mike proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. On Aug. 24, 1985, Mike married Mary Lee Christensen and together they had three children: Owen, Kelly and Kaitlin. Mike worked as an accountant for Sears Roebuck in Chicago. Additionally, he owned and operated Gloria Jean’s Coffee franchises. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Mike enjoyed classic cars — particularly hotrods — and loved attending car shows. Mike ‘knew everybody’ and he ‘never met a stranger.’

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brothers, Patrick and Hugh Fee.

Mike is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Owen and wife Andria Fee, Kelly and husband Blake Davis, and Kaitlin and husband Wesley Mabe; grandchildren, Lucas, Gracelyn, Lilly and Lincoln; brother, Thomas Fee; and brother-in-law, Kent Christensen.
