In loving memory of our mother, Karen Elaine Rue, who passed away suddenly Nov. 29, 2024 in Decorah, Iowa while visiting her bonus mom, Sharon Anderson. She was born to father Dale Rue (deceased) and mother Margaret Rue (deceased) in Westchester, California Aug. 21, 1967.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and proud of her family. Karen moved to San Pedro, Belize in 2021 to start her dream life near the ocean once more, where she made many new friends who will miss her as we all will.
She is survived by brother Steven Rue of Los Angeles, California; bonus family Dan and Stefani Summers of Celina; children Heather Rue of Charles City, Iowa, Kimberly Jo (Austin) Stovall of Granbury, Mathan Rue of Waco; and 11 grandchildren.
