Jana Ellen (Adair) Sprague, 71, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully on Aug. 6, 2025, in Granbury. Born March 1, 1954, in Lincoln, Illinois, Jana was the daughter of Arthur “Jerry” and Janice (Koch) Adair. In 1972, Jana met Jeff Sprague, and they married in 1974. Together, they raised three children and relocated to Granbury in 1987. She found her greatest joy in being a mother and “Woohoo” to her grandchildren – roles she cherished above all else. Her love extended to animals of all kinds, and no matter what hour, you never left her house hungry.
She is survived by Jeff (Joe Sharp) Sprague of Pottsboro; children Justin Sprague, Jerred (Katy) Sprague, and Jeffie (Jeremy) Lee of Granbury; grandchildren Brynna Wells, Wyatt Wells, Kai Lee, and Kasyn Lee; her mother Janice Adair of Waynesville; sister Joni (Craig) LaDew of Danvers; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and special cousins.
A celebration of life will be held Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. at StoneWater Church, Granbury. Condolences can be left at legacy.com
