On July 3, 2025, shortly before 6 a.m., James Ray Thomas of Granbury, Texas, went to be with the Lord at the age of 72. Son of Troy and Juanita Thomas, he was born in Lubbock, Texas, March 8, 1953. He attended Azle High School.
Less than two months prior, he received a diagnosis of cancer and sadly lost that battle.
A memorial to celebrate James’s life will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Oak Trail Baptist Church, 4501 Peppertree Rd., Granbury, Texas, 76048.
