James Ralph Grover, 90, of North Richland Hills, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026. Jim was a beloved husband, dad, Grampy, brother, uncle, friend and golf buddy.
A longtime resident of Granbury, he was born Oct. 30,1935 in Muncie, Indiana to Charles and Frances Grover. He married Sharon (Lindemann) Grover in 1957 and graduated from Indiana University in 1959.
He and Sharon spent 68 wonderful years together working, raising a family, traveling the world and playing golf with friends. They were members of the Pecan Plantation Country Club and Nutcracker Golf Club for more than 20 years. Friends and family will miss his funny stories, calm demeanor, and loving devotion to all the people he cared about.
Jim is survived by his wife Sharon; his three children James Scott Grover (Teri), Kimberly Maylath (Mark) and Karen Grover; his three grandchildren Shannon Maylath, Jeremy Maylath (Cynthia), Leo James Grover; his sister Susan Nelson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Mary Catherine, Charlotte, Jane; his brothers-in-law Gene, Budd, Hugh, Keith and Gilbert (Stephen) and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
