In a Facebook post made Feb. 10, Hood County Animal Control announced it will shut down both the intake and outtake of dogs at its facility for 30 days after one of the dogs it was sheltering received a positive diagnosis for three deadly canine diseases — distemper, coronavirus and Bordetella.
