Grinch to visit Cresson Wrench for photo op Dec. 19

Posted

Everyone’s favorite green, furry, Christmas-hating Grinch is traveling all the way from Whoville to The Cresson Wrench on Sunday, Dec. 19, to visit and take pictures with children from 2:30-5:30 p.m.

Located at 9501 Lancaster St., children can visit with The Grinch and his best friend, Cindy-Lou Who on the front porch of the Cresson Wrench while they sip on hot cocoa and snack on fresh popcorn.

The Grinch is kind of a 50/50 — either you love him or you're terrified, and personally, I'd love to see the kids get scared, which was kind of the case with our grandson. We did a trial run with him,” said Bambi Bridges, the owner of The Cresson Wrench.

The event is free and open to the public. Guests are asked to bring their own camera, as a professional photographer will not be available to take photos.

I'm hoping it'll be a lot of fun, and just give everybody something in town to do for free. Hopefully, it’ll be the beginning of many more to come,” Bridges said.

The Cresson Wrench is an up-and-coming restaurant that has been in the works for close to a year. The tentative opening date is scheduled for spring 2022.

“People are going to love it,” Bridges added. “This is going to be the coolest place. You’re just not going to believe it.”
