Granbury man sentenced to 14 years for attempted capital murder in domestic violence incident

Connor Ryan Darland, a 33-year-old Granbury resident, was sentenced to 14 years in a Texas penitentiary earlier this month after pleading guilty to a first-degree felony charge of attempt to commit capital murder. The verdict — delivered Feb. 3 — took place in the 355th Judicial District Court of Hood County.
