Elsie Joan (Clark) Williamson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was 85 years old. Elsie was born on Jan. 19, 1940, in Wickenburg, Arizona, to Glenn and Dorothy (Hanson) Clark.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Bible Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 10 a.m. The burial will take place at Post Oak Cemetery.
Elsie married Richard D. Williamson on November 29, 1958, in Highlands, Texas. Together, they made their home in Azle where they raised their children Rick and Andrea. She was a member of the Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle, Texas, and Beta Sigma Phi, Eta Alpha Chapter. She and Richard loved to spend time in their motorhome, traveling the United States with family and friends. Above all, Elsie felt her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her children. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Andrea Lee (Williamson) Mayen, and brother James Clark.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Richard Williamson; son, Rick Williamson; son-in-law, Rudy Mayen; along with numerous extended family and friends.
