Barbara Lanell Davis, 86, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, in Granbury.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in memory of Barbara to Granbury Theatre Company at 133 E. Pearl St.; Granbury, TX 76048, or Plaza Theatre Company at 305 S. Anglin St., Cleburne, TX 76031.
Barbara was born Aug. 10, 1938, in Seymour to Willie Washington Biggerstaff and Ruby Imogene Cole. She married Robert “Bob” Davis June 1, 1956, in Seymour. She ran a store on the Granbury square called A Touch of Texas, where she sold various knick knacks all bearing the emblem of the great state of Texas. She also loved to cook meals at the holidays for family, including homemade rolls. Barbara loved to attend all her granddaughters' and great-granddaughter's functions, flowers in hand.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Davis; and daughter, Tonna Newman.
Barbara is survived by her son, Lan Davis and wife Libby; son-in-law, Bill Newman; two granddaughters, Caitlan Leblo and her husband Josh, and Baylee Davis and her wife Brooke Yrigoyen; and great-grandchildren, Aria and Elijah Leblo.
