When Kim Lewis’ mother, Shirley Thornton Anderson, died last year from complications caused by Alzheimer’s, she knew she had to step up and advocate for others battling the devastating disease. This year, she led a charge for Alzheimer’s research by leading Team Granbury in the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer's on Nov. 15.
