Members of the Granbury City Council took a few moments last week to thank Atmos Energy for the service provider’s quick response during a temporary gas outage that occurred Friday, Jan. 17.

As the owner of Concho Hearts Hospice and member of many city boards and councils such as the Granbury Chamber of Commerce, Autism Speaks and the Alzheimer's Association, Current’s busy schedule has solidified her as one of Granbury’s most prominent figures. However, Current was forced to slow down in February 2024 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma.
