Some say, “Stop and smell the roses”, but drivers these days can’t be bothered to stop even when it’s the law. Lately I find myself impressed when a driver completes a full stop before proceeding through an intersection.
The copious abuse and disregard of making a complete stop before turning right on red makes me wonder if drivers even remember it’s a requirement to stop. Drivers maneuvering from Morgan to Pearl sail around the corner without a care in the world. Same at 377 and Meander on all four corners! These are only two intersections out of many where I’ve witnessed this dangerous activity.
I implore law enforcement to take up this cause before a preventable disaster occurs.
