Winter precipitation won’t stick around, NWS says

The National Weather Service is predicting Hood County could receive a light snow/sleet/rain mix Wednesday afternoon and overnight.
But temperatures should remain warm enough that little to no accumulation is expected on grassy areas and roads should remain clear, according to the service.
Precipitation should be over by Thursday morning.
Caution is always advised when driving on elevated roads and bridges even when light wintry precipitation is occurring, according to the service.
