Waxahachie superintendent gets nod to lead Granbury ISD

Waxahachie Superintendent Jeremy K. Glenn has been named the lone finalist for Granbury school superintendent. Glenn, 41, also led Central Heights ISD near Nacogdoches and has been a high school principal, English teacher and coach. He holds a doctorate degree from Sam Houston State University. The school board will meet on or after Aug. 22 to consider final action. State law requires school boards to disclose the name of a finalist at least 21 days prior to employment. During this time he will be visiting schools and meeting with teachers, staff, parents and community members. Glenn and his wife Karisa have four children. He would succeed Jim Largent who retired Tuesday.
