Prissy is the winner of the Hood County News' Christmas Critters photo contest. Prissy is a Toy Australian Shepherd, and her human “mom” is Cindy Dennis. Dennis is best known in Hood County as “The Pickle Lady” having won 56 ribbons at the State Fair of Texas and was featured in The Texas Hill County Reporter as well as the Hood County News.

Texas Master Naturalist Ann Sansone is here to raise awareness and give the Black Land Prairie a fighting chance.
