Margery Mabel Robertson

Margery Mabel Robertson Ray, 95, passed away on July 25, 2010 in Arlington, Texas. She was a native Lawtonian who lived in her family home until her 90th birthday. She then moved to The Estates in Granbury where she lived for three years. The last two years of her life, she resided at Eden Terrace in Arlington.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at Centenary Methodist Church in Lawton, Okla. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Norma Quinn, pastor officiating.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service
The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The family would like to express their appreciation to American Hospice for their loving care during their mother's final days. They also wish to thank All Star Health Services and ACT Senior Care for their diligent care during the past two years.

Margery was born January 8, 1915 and graduated from Lawton High School in 1932. She married James Ellsworth Ray, Sr. on September 7, 1934 in Walters, Oklahoma. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before he passed away on April 2, 1986.
Because she had four children under the age of five, she spent her early years of marriage as a homemaker caring for her family.
Survivors:
Daughter, Shirley Blowers and husband Robert; son, Larry Ray and wife Suzanne; grandchildren, Thomas Blowers and wife Liz, James Blowers and wife Carol, Lauri Spillman and husband Roger, Steve Ray and wife Holly, David Ray, Connie Dando and husband Pat, Laurie Donnelly, Susan Craig, Paige Foster and husband William, Bethanne Bartlett and Betsy McConnell. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and friends she made throughout her lifetime
