Tolar band ends impressive run

Tolar's sensational run in the state marching contest ended Monday night at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The Tolar band, competing in its first state marching contest, was among seven bands to advance from the 16-band preliminary round earlier Monday. Tolar was not chosen for the top three bands, but is a top seven finalist in Class A. Sundown won first, followed by Forsan and Canadian.
