The man's motorcycle crashed after going into a bar ditch, then came to rest in a culvert, McNiel said. The man's name could not be released because next-of-kin had not been notified.</description>

The amount -- roughly 17 ounces, including packaging -- ranks as a state jail felony charge, Hines said. All three were released after posting $10,000 bond, according to Hood County Jail records.</description>

A southbound 1994 Ford Ranger pickup driven by a Granbury man disregarded a red light and struck a 1997 Chevrolet pickup containing two Granbury men headed north, the officer said. The Chevrolet had to be towed from the scene.</description>

TSU spokeswoman Liza Benedict said the university will appeal the ruling, and said the mistakes were unintentional. In 2007, TSU journalism students studied campus police reports dating back to 2001 and found discrepancies in stats filed by the PD to the DOE. The DOE's imposed fine is for alleged violations by the university of the Clery Act, which pertains to the disclosure of campus crime statistics.</description>
