Texas unemployment rate falls for fourth consecutive month

The seasonally adjusted unemloyment rate in Texas fell to 6.1 percent in Novemeber, down from 6.2 percent in October according to the Texas Workforce Commission. This marks the lowest unemployment rate for Texas since December 2008. The state’s unemployment rate continued to be well below the national unemployment rate which was 7.0 percent in November.
