Tax statements will be mailed Friday

It’s that time of the year — cooler weather, football and taxes. Some 76,000 tax statements will be mailed Friday by the Hood County Appraisal District. Chief Appraiser Greg Stewart said the taxes are due upon receipt, and become delinquent Feb. 1, 2013.
