The Granbury School Board honored Lake Granbury Medical Center for its support of Granbury students. Superintendent James Largent said the hospital provides a number of services and other contributions to students and employees. This includes support for high school health science classes as well as providing immunizations and athletic physicals for hundreds of students. The hospital also has provided spirit shirts for employees, additional shirts for high school football games, bottled water and printing services. In addition, LGMC is an active participant and contributor to the Granbury ISD Education Foundation with marketing director Dixie Lee Hedgecock and technology director Kevin Myers sitting on the foundation’s board.
