Officers locate subject sought in reported ‘Smith & Wesson’ incident

Granbury Police Department officers detained a man for questioning shortly after 2:30 p.m. after they were dispatched in connection with a 911 call about a man who reportedly had entered a shop on the square in downtown Granbury, locked the door behind him and told a clerk he had a “Smith & Wesson” in his pocket. Police Chief Mitch Galvan indicated that there may have been a misunderstanding about what the man said.
