Missouri murder trial for local woman reset for February

November 5, 2013

The murder trial of Shannon L. O’Roark Griffin, a resident of Pecan Plantation charged with the January 2012 shooting death of her husband’s alleged mistress in Clay County, Missouri, has been tentatively rescheduled to begin on Feb. 24. That’s according to Clay County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Jim Roberts. The trial had been set to start Monday, Nov. 4, after Griffin had a mental evaluation and was cleared to stand trial, Roberts said. Roberts said he was not sure of the reason for the latest delay.
