Mayor declares “Dana Vollmer Free Swim Weekend”

To celebrate hometown girl Dana Vollmer’s gold medal win at the London Olympics, Granbury Mayor Rickie Pratt has announced that Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 4-5) will be “Dana Vollmer Free Swim Weekend” at the Swim Center named in her honor by the city park. The free swim is open to all residents of Hood County, and is for normal pool hours.
