Fifty shades of red?

Thursday night’s annual Handsome Hunks of Hood County fund raiser for Ruth’s Place brought in more than $75,000 for the medical clinic that offers healthcare to those who are uninsured and under-insured. Todd Lane, a Fort Worth firefighter, won the top honor at the popular fund raiser. H-E-B Manager Pat Wilson was runner-up, and Dr. Romeo Bachand went home with the People’s Choice Award. As the evening wore on at the packed Granbury Resort Conference Center, inhibitions seemed to lower. When Granbury City Council member Gary Couch engaged in a 50-Shades-of -Gray-like dance routine with a woman who seemed to have lost her skirt, emcees Tony Mobly and Bradley Hart shut down the performance.
