The presence of extra law enforcement officers will be seen in Hood County over the upcoming Fourth of July holiday weekend. Granbury Police Department Deputy Chief Alan Hines said that all of the department’s officers will be out for Friday’s 10 a.m. parade, and extra officers will be working during the fireworks display that night. The DPS began increased DWI patrols on June 27, and that will continue through Monday, July 7.
