A Granbury Volunteer Fire Department committee is taking the lead in a restoration project to rebuild a 1937 Ford fire truck that was in use here until it was “retired” in 1974, and donations are being sought, Fire Chief Darrell Grober said. Call the non-emergency number at Fire Station No. 1 at 817-579-1111 if you’d like to help bring the truck, known as Old No. 2, back to life.
