Leslie Gay Hughes, 50, of the 1000 block of Spring Ridge Circle in Granbury, on Dec. 20 was sentenced to 30 years in prison by District Judge Ralph Walton after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated, District Attorney Rob Christian said. Hughes was legally considered a “habitual” offender because of numerous previous felony convictions, Christian said. She could be eligible for early release on parole in less than 7-1/2 years, he added.
