Crossing arms coming down today at problematic Cresson intersection
The crossing arms at the railroad tracks in Cresson that have repeatedly malfunctioned, causing traffic back-ups for miles, are coming down today, according to word just received by Precinct 4 Commissioner Steve Berry. The arms will stay down until an electrical short believed to be causing the problem is fixed. Berry urges motorists to be cautious and to watch for trains when crossing the tracks.
