Conaway denies wrongdoing in connection to Collins’ insider-trading charges

U.S. Rep. Mike Conaway, R-Midland, who purchased stock in Innate Immunotherapeutics, the company tied to the insider trading arrest of fellow Congressman Chris Collins, is denying any wrongdoing in his financial dealings with that company. In a statement provided to the HCN, Conaway’s spokeswoman, Emily Hytha, said that Conaway “follows without exception” the “strict ethics laws and reporting requirements” that regulate investments made by members of Congress.
