City sales tax up, county down

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs will send October sales tax allocations totaling $579.8 million to cities, counties and special tax districts. This is up 5.2 percent compared to October 2012. Granbury was up nine percent compared to the same month last year. Hood County was down 10 percent for the same month. The sales tax figures represent monthly sales made in August.
