Authorities: Body believed to be missing Pecan Plantation man

Authorities believe they have found the body of Pecan Plantation resident Bill Moore, 83, who had been missing for over six years. On Saturday Texas Department of Public Safety divers recovered a missing North Richland Hills man and his vehicle in the Trinity River at Loop 12 in Dallas. During the dive a Dodge pickup was discovered in the water that belonged to William Moore, who was reported missing on March 10, 2012, according to the Hood County Sheriff’s Office. On Tuesday divers returned with the necessary equipment and pulled out the Dodge pickup. A partial skeleton believed to be Moore was discovered in the truck. The remains were sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for examination and DNA testing. Investigators said the death appears to be accidental.
