Information phone line now operational

May 16, 2013

Granbury City Manager Wayne McKethan said early Thursday that a phone line has been set up to provide up-to-date information in the aftermath of Wednesday night’s tornado devastation that left at least six dead. The number for the Comanche Peak Emergency Information Line is 682-498-8010. Callers should be prepared to call repeatedly, though, before getting a real person on the line. If operators are busy with other callers, the automated message gives instructions to hang up and call again.

A Lake Granbury Medical Center Disaster Information Line has been established for family members who may be trying to locate loved ones – 817.579.2888. Another helpful resource is www.RedCross.org – “Safe & Well” button which will help family search for victims at all area hospitals.
