Tolar’s grueling stretch over

The Tolar Rattlers wrapped up a five-game road stretch with a 14-8 loss at Grandview Tuesday.

The loss, the Rattlers’ fourth in the stretch, dropped Tolar (9-8 overall) to 1-5 in District 10-2A.

“The district decides the schedule,” is all Tolar coach Darrell Hogan said about the grueling stretch of games.

The Rattlers now finish the regular season with four straight at home, starting last night against Maypearl.

“We basically have to win out to make the playoffs at 5-5,” said Hogan.

The Rattlers banged out 13 hits in the loss, including two each by Stevie Morphew, Dakota Endsley and Dusty Kimmell.
