The Tolar Lady Rattlers’ postseason softball hopes came to an end Tuesday night with a 10-0 loss at Grandview.

The Lady Rattlers (6-12 overall) slipped to 2-6 in District 10-2A with two games to play, including last night’s home finale’ against Maypearl.

“Tonight’s game was a must-win, and it just didn’t fall our way,” said Tolar coach Christy Collie.

Hannah Lee managed the lone hit for Tolar, a triple. She was also the only baserunner for the Lady Rattlers as Grandview pitcher Lexi Meadows walked none, struck out seven.

Also, Grandview supported Meadows by committing no errors behind her.

“Our focus is to finish strong and to send our four seniors off with a good end,” said Collie.

“We fell short on a spot to advance, and that makes me sad, but I’m not at all disappointed in my girls.”
