Indians off to best start in years

The Lipan Indians are off to their best start to a baseball season in a long time.

With a 24-7 drubbing of Graford and a 12-11 edging of Baird, the Indians improved to 4-1 on the season.

More important, all of the games are District 10-A contests, meaning they are smack-dab in the middle of the postseason chase, although coach Mike Permenter is putting the brakes on such talk for now.
