Indians miss playoffs, first time since ‘90

In a most unfamiliar scene, the Lipan Indians are packing up their following the final game of the regular season.

That hasn’t happened since George Bush – the first one – was president of the United States.

Not since 1990, to be exact.

Lingleville ended Lipan’s postseason hopes with a 49-40 victory at home Friday. The loss left the Indians (12-17 overall) with a 4-5 record in District 17-A. Lingleville clinched a postseason berth.
