Indians chasing postseason spot

The Lipan Indians are alone in second place at the midpoint of the District 10-A baseball season with a 5-2 record following a 12-1 home win over Albany Friday.

“We’re playing pretty good defense and we’re hitting the ball,” said Lipan coach Mike Permenter.

“I can’t remember in my five years (at Lipan) us beating Albany, much less by run rule.”
