Big second quarter lifts Indians on road

Keyed by a 22-6 second-quarter run, the Lipan Indians evened their record at 4-4 with a 54-37 victory at Keene Tuesday.

Lipan was led Blake Williams with 14 points, while Tanner Richardson had 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.

The Indians had slipped from the Class A Division II state rankings following a slow start to the season, but have won three of four. This includes a third-place trophy in last weekend’s Santo Tournament.
