Granbury golfer academic all-state

Chelsea Judge put a cap on her Granbury High golfing career by being named academic all-state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association.

Judge received the honor that goes to graduating seniors who are in good standing with the team, of good moral character, and have a distinguished grade point average.

Judge recently competed in the Class 4A Region I Tournament individually for a second straight season. She also helped the Lady Pirates reach regionals as a team in 2012.

Judge earned All-District 7-4A honors each of her final three seasons.

She was also named a Granbury Education Foundation Scholar Athlete and was a member of the We the People state championship team participating in a national constitutional law competition.

Judge plans to attend Texas Tech and study pre-med.
