Hightower has second go Thursday at NHSFR

Hunter Hightower of Lipan, the two-time defending national champion, will have his second go in cutting horse competition Thursday at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyo. His score of 144 in the first round had him in fourth place, but he fell to 18th Wednesday after several riders had their second go. The leader, Denton Vaughn of California, has 290.5 points through two rounds.
