With heavy rain causing flash flood conditions throughout Hood County Tuesday, emergency responders were called to rescue four workers trapped by rushing waters in a pickup truck on a washed out bridge on Sunset Acres Court in Granbury.
Granbury Volunteer Fire Department Operations Captain Brian Merony said language barriers made in difficult for rescuers to communicate with the trapped men.
Firefighters extended a ladder truck across high waters to help lead the men to safety.
No injuries were reported.
The Hood County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident.
